We’ve compiled a list of active small business grants available this month, complete with eligibility criteria, application links, and deadlines. Explore the options, apply early, and use this month to power your next big move.
1. Wells Fargo Foundation Small Business Grant
Grant Overview: Provides grants to nonprofits addressing community needs around financial health, housing, small business growth, and sustainability.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be a nonprofit (501(c)(3)), public school, tribal entity, or government agency in the U.S.
Must demonstrate financial stability and address community needs.

2. U.S. Chamber CO‑100 Award
Grant Overview: Recognizes standout small businesses across the U.S.—ten receive $2,000 each, and one grand prize winner gets $25,000 plus media exposure and mentorship.
Eligibility Requirements:
U.S. small business operating at least one year.
Must meet revenue/employee thresholds.

3. Wish Local Empowerment Program
Grant Overview: Provides $500–$2,000 grants to Black-owned businesses with brick-and-mortar storefronts, serving communities near Wish retail markets.
Eligibility Requirements:
- U.S.-based Black-owned business with ≤ 20 employees and < $1 million annual revenue.
- Must have a physical storefront.

4. Allstate Main Street Grants Program
Grant Overview: Here to support the small businesses fueling communities across the U.S. With $1.26 million in available funding, this initiative is designed to close the national wealth gap by investing in local businesses that power Main Streets across America.
Eligibility Requirements:
The leading executive (Founder, CEO, President, etc.) of the business.
A for-profit business registered and located in one of the fifty United States, D.C., or Puerto Rico.
- Must have generated a minimum of $25,000 in revenue in 2024
- Must be willing to participate in a virtual business Boost Camp starting in September 2025.

5. Walmart Spark Good Local Grants
Grant Overview: Offers grants ranging from $250 to $5,000 to support local nonprofit organizations and small businesses.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Business or nonprofit must be based in the U.S.
- Must operate near a Walmart store.

6. National Pride Grant for LGBTQIA+ Small Businesses

- LGBTQIA+ owned small businesses operating within the United States.
- Minimum of 1 year in business

7. Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Business Center Grants
Grant Overview: Provides grants to minority-owned businesses to support growth and competitiveness.

8. Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) Grants

Annual revenues of $50,000 or more.

12. Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF) – City of Chicago
Grant Overview: Provides funding for permanent building improvements and repairs for small businesses located in designated Tax Increment Financing (TIF) districts within Chicago.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be a small business operating in a designated TIF district in Chicago.
Eligible properties include commercial and industrial facilities.

Application Timeline: The program rolls out on the 1st of each month across different TIF districts in Chicago and remains open until the 30th. Eligibility rotates by district—check the rollout calendar to see when your area qualifies.
