We keep everything simple and respectful of your time. Here’s what happens when you sign up:
Complete the quick onboarding form.
You’ll answer a few questions about your business and bookkeeping setup. Once you submit the form, you’ll be taken straight to the payment page to officially secure your spot.Grant secure access.
You’ll provide accountant access to QuickBooks Online (or share the necessary statements/exports). We’ll let you know exactly what we need.Full review & clean-up.
We go through your books carefully — reconciling accounts, correcting errors, organizing transactions, and cleaning up vendors/customers as needed.Reports & review call.
Once the cleanup is complete, you’ll receive tax-ready financial statements and a 30-minute call to walk through everything that was done.Next steps (optional).

What if I don’t have an existing QuickBooks Online (QBO) account?
No problem at all — you don’t need an active QBO subscription to sign up.
If you’re new to QuickBooks Online, we can help you get everything set up correctly from the start.
As a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, VirtuCount can offer you a discounted subscription rate, and we’ll also handle your QBO setup for a one-time fee of $150 (this includes the first month’s service fee).
We’ll walk you through the entire process so your bookkeeping system is ready for the cleanup.
How long does the clean-up take?
Every business is different, so the timing depends on the complexity of your books and how far behind things are. Most cleanups are completed within a few weeks after we receive your access and documents.
Once we review everything, we’ll share a clear timeline for your specific project.
What accounting platforms do you support?
We specialize in QuickBooks Online for all cleanup projects. If you’re using something else, feel free to reach out — we may still be able to help or guide you.
Do you offer payment plans?
For the annual cleanup package, we do not offer payment plans due to the intensive time and work required to complete the project accurately and efficiently.
However, if you’re interested in ongoing monthly bookkeeping for 2026 after your cleanup is completed, we’re happy to discuss those service options with you after you sign up.
What do you need from me to get started?
After sign-up, we’ll send a short intake form requesting:
basic business info
QBO access
bank/credit card connections
any documents we need to complete the cleanup
We keep things as simple and streamlined as possible.
What happens if I’m missing documents?
No problem — we’ll let you know exactly what’s needed and how to get it. Most missing documents can be retrieved easily once we’re working together.
Will my books look perfect after the cleanup?
Your books will be accurate, complete, and fully organized for year-end and tax season.
We also provide a clear summary of what we corrected, what you should know moving forward, and recommendations for ongoing financial success.
